Locally based international firearms training company, wants to offer FREE basic pistol classes to victims of violent crimes and gunshot injures.
Victory Defense Consulting (VDC) is an international training entity that provides a wide range of training and equipment. One of the specialized areas of VDC is providing local, national, and international firearms training services to Law Enforcement, Military, Private Security, and Citizens. VDC is a dedicated division of Foremost Response, Inc. with a traditional brick and mortar store location in Canon City, CO. This location is the largest Law Enforcement and Public Safety Supplies store in all of southeast Colorado. The parent Co HQs is located here in the Grand Valley as a premiere security services provider.
FBI and Justice Department studies show that crime has increased over 500% since 1960. A violent crime occurs every 22 seconds in this country. A rape occurs every 5.8 minutes, a murder every 34 minutes. Half of all Americans will be robbed or burglarized in their lifetimes. For the first time in our nation's history, one in every 32 adults is either in prison, jail, on parole, or probation.
In the last two years Alone, more American died from gunshot wounds than were killed during the entire Vietnam War. By this time tomorrow, 400 more Americans will suffer a shooting injury, and another 1,100 will face a criminal with a gun. Within the hour, another 75 women will be raped. In the last 35 years, more public figures have been attacked in America than in the 185 years before that. American citizens are encountering violence at their jobs to the point that homicide is now the leading cause of death for women in the workplace.
VDC desires to provide a FREE training session to selected victims of a violent crime. This is to better prepare them to defend themselves and their loved ones; to give them confidence to do so and know that with training the chances of being a victim a second time can be diminished. We welcome the opportunity to work with victims who previously have been anti-gun advocates/supporters/believers in order to show them responsible armed citizens can fit into our daily life in American society.

VDC is actively seeking departments and agencies to host a variety of courses. Please contact us if your department or agency is interested in hosting a particular course. There are definite advantages and cost savings available by hosting.
Mobile Training Teams are available for any course and courses can be offered on-location for all programs. Please contact us for customized or combined courses at your location.
